(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ANOTHER ESTATE PURCHASED. HASTINGS, this day. Mcßae and Peacock's Waihau estate, of 6,162 acres, has been purchased by the Government and will be taken over on the 12th March. It is suitable for mixed farming. The estate is situated on the proposed HastingsPiikititiri tramway line, about 45 miles from Hastings. EXPANSION OF CHEESE INDUSTRY. EKETAHL'NA, this day. There has been a great expansion of dairying in this district, and a start is about to be made with the erection of the fourth new cheese factory this season.
