Watch-nans were •lso placed at 1/, and buyers of May Queens advanced their buying price to , he same rate. New Zealand Crown hares were transferred at 2/7, but Vaihis were a little easier, being sold at 3/(1 and 33/. Waihi Grand Junction hares sold at 21/G, with further buyers ' tiering 3d under that figure. In investaent shares, ordinary issue of Auckland , rams sold at 24/, and New Zealand 'aper Mills at 21/6, while transactions vere reported in nikurangi Coal share .1 IS/6. Hank of New Zealands were iffered at -.'lO 18/ this morning. WATTAiNG-I CONSOLIDATED. At the 3.15 p.m. call yesterday shares n the Waitangi Consolidated mine sold ip to 1/3, as compared -with 7d on Saturlay morning. Subsequent to the call the ol lowing telegram was received from the nanager;—"Sample from the drive at . distance of .'),s_3ft, for a width of 6ft, ssaj-H £7." The manager reports under late of .July _7 that the main drive on be reef has been driven a further 25ft. 'he reef still looks well, and carries some food minerals.
