DESTKOYER'S MISTAKE. (Received 11.10 a.m.) LOXDOX, July 28. During a destroyer's night attack off Spithead in connection wtih the mobilisation of the Portsmouth garrison, a shell whizzed past the Haslar Hospital instead of being aimed at the moving targets accompanying the warships, and! embedded itself on the lawn of the hospital without exnloding. An inquiry has been opened.
