UNION'S ATTNTTAIi MEETING. ELECTIONS TO BE CONTESTED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, this day. Strike affairs are quiet. A notice is posted on the Miners' Union Hail to the effect that the annual general meeting of the Miners' Union will be held on Monday at 10 a_m.. when nominations for various offices for Hie ensuing year will be received. Nominations close at the end of the meeting. The date or tho elections is not mentioned, but they will probably take place on the followin" Saturday. It is reported that the principal '' -•« -will- be-contested.
