FRENCH "SAILORISERS"
IN THE ALGERIAN TRADE. Jr. AITERS AND WATCHMAKERS. (Received 11.20 a.m.) PARIS, July 12. The "Journal dcs Debates" states that there is a lack of properly trained crews for vessels sailing to Algiers, and that serious danger may result. Officers are doing most of the work, and in some cases the crew consists of unemployed waiters, chauffeurs, music hall artists, and watchmakers.
