"The Gamblers of the West" is a western drarsa full of exciting incidents. The programme is well supplied with comedies under the titles of "A Pleasant Surprise." "Tiny Toms Exploits." "Percy is Invited to the Opera.'' and "Wrong Address.' The programme will be repeated to-night and tomorrow afternoon and evening. NEWTON PICTURE PALACE. Darge audiences attended the various sessions at the Newton Picture Palace yesterday and last evening, and. judging -by the reception accorded the various pictures, the programme appeared to be much to the taste of the patrons. Among the films shown were some striking scenic views, while the dramatic studies were also of a very high standard. Dramatic stories of much Interest, were: "The Buccaneers'' raid "Red Eagle." "Ixmedale Operator" was much appreciated. The comic part of the programme Includes several highly amusing films, notably "Madeline's Rebellion." •The Pa-toe Gazette" contains some very interest topical subjects. The programme will be shown to-day, this evening, and tomorrow afternoon and evening. PICTURE ENTERTAINMENTS. West's new programme was repeated at the Albert Hall last night, and was greatly appreciated. "Won Yet Ixst" is a dis-. tmguishod feature of the programme. "The Mystery of a Hansom Cab." a pictorial reproduction of tbe famous story by Fergus Hume, will be presented at the Windsor Theatre. Ponsonby. During the-. showing of the picture. Mr Alf Boottnurn. the well known Australian actor, will deliver a descriptive address. _ The current programme nt the Kings Theatre was repeated last night before an appreciative attendance of spectators. The Lyric Theatre was well patronised last night, when on interesting programme was screened. ■ The Adelphl Theatre enters satisfactorily for the picture-goers of Newmarket. "Attacked by a Dion" is an unusually fine picture to be seen at the Qoeen'*. Theatre during this week end. TOWN HALL. ORGAN RECTTATi. At Mr Pnrcell ebb's organ recital In the Town Hall on Saturday evening next a fine programme will be rendered, including Mendelssohn's grand "Organ Sonata in K." Wagner will be represented by the, "Pilgrims' Chorus" and "Oh. Star of Eve" from -Tannhauser." Orison's spirited "Marcbe Trio-niphalo" and Batiste's finest ••bffertoire No. 5" also find a place on the programme. SKATING RINKS. The Prince's Rink was well attended by skaters yesterday. It will be open as usual to-day. The Royal Rink will be open at all sessions to-night and to-morrow. The crowds keep up constantly at this rink.
