WEALTH OF THE LAND.
FARMERS' CO-OPERATIVE PROFITS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NAPIER, this day. The Farmers' Co-operative Association made a profit last year of £28,583 12/7. The shareholders at the annual meeting decided to pay a dividend of 8 per cent, mi paid-up capital, a bonus of 12J per cent, on commissions contributed by shareholders, a bonus of 2 per cent, on goods purchased by shareholders, a bonus of 5 per cent- on salaries, and £1000 was added to the reserve fund. The balance was carried forward. The chairman (Mr R. I). D. McLean), in congratulating shareholders, mentioned that 21 years ago tin- association had 100 members, anil tilt-re were now over 10i):).* .Mr .1. W. Harding was elected chairman of directors.
