. I (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, this day. A meeting of creditors in. connection ■with, the -bajikrupttey o!f lAdrian and Emily Greig. hoarding-house keepers, of Waiii. -was held in the Waihi Courthouse this afternoon. Mr. W. S. Usher, Official Assignee (Aiicklaiid.,). prjeaded. QSanknrpt and his -wife having been examined. the Assignee said that tie outstanding ajid ur satisfactory feature of the case was that no proper account of receipts and expenditure had. been kept. Therefore, there was no chance of tracing their transactions. Ba-nknipts had ■ brought themselves within the. penal clauses of the Act. He asked if it wag the ■wish of <the creditors that proceedings should be given. On "the motion of I 3lr. McGregor, seconded by Mr. Snell, it was resolved: "That, the meeting be adjourned for a month to enable bankrupts to make an offer. The Assignee said that the matter of a sale of furniture to Mr. H. Paary would be investigated and a valuation made.
