The match between the Australians and Somerset was concluded at Bath to-day, tbe Australians winning by ten wickets. ° J The weather was fine and the wicket fast, while the attendance numbered ISOO. SQmer.ct, with' no wickets down for ]._ runs in their second innings, made a better standi than in the tirst innings, and at lunch the score was three for 97. The best stand was made, by Bisgood and Robsou, who added 59 for'the sixth wicket. The remainder added- 30, Daniel! batting carefully and faultlessly for 75 minutes for 26 runs. Bisgood was taken at the wickets by Webster standing back. He also batted for 75 minutes, his cutting being e_cell_att He also made several lucky snicks and hit eight fours. Robsons innings was marred by cutting and driving. He was in 40 minutes, and hit sis fourers. Australia won without the loss of a v/ickgt, Ma.yne and Kelleway hitting tbe necessary score in 65 minutes, Mavne showing all-round cricket, and Kelleway good driving.
