THE LIBERAL PLAIFORM.
SYDNEY, June 13. The Federal Liberal party's election platform has been published. It aims at the adjustment of industrial inequalities between the States, fostering the cooperative spirit, and the control of trusts harmful to the public interests: also, economy t>y restricting taxation on necessities of life. Other planks in the platform: To promote the settlement of tfte Northern Territory, to secure to settlers in the closer " settled districts the right to the freehold, to co-operate with the States and the Imperial Government in a vigorous immigration, policy, a -white Australia, to promote Australian defence on lines of ' Imperial co-operation, to maintain the ■ present tariff poliey x and to establish a.' ■ "Board of Trade or other non-political body, which, will make recoinmentiation& for its adjustment.
