A remarkable exit of population from New Zealand to Australia is noticeable in tie statistics of immigration and emigration, for the month of April. The arrreals at New Zealand ports totalled 3337 and tho departures 4265—a net. loss-of 928. Tbc Dominion gained subsequently, as usual, on its exchange -with the- Old Country, but it lost heavily toNew South.
