PARNELL ROADS.

(To the Editor.) Sir, —It is pleasing to note that an improvement scheme on roads is to be taken in hand in the Parnell borough, giving easy access in some streets, instead of the old circuitous, round-about way. This is .to be desired. The engineer will see the great need of ' ins proving the present grade from Staffordstreet to about Mr. Kent's, on Glad-stone-road. It is a heavy pull on the horses, and could be ea3ih- remedied. — I am, etc., ADVANCE PARNELL.
