'the, ■■ animal was killed, he, being meanwhile badly bitten. ■Meanwhile the female monkey escaped from the cage, and was at large until Sunday morning, when two attendants, who had been hunting for her, succeeded in shooting the fugitive. The Tinakori wireless station will shortly be opened.
