RIFLE SHOOTING.

AUCKLAND OTX RIFLS CU2. On Saturday, the City Club completed the I final competition for Its championship I trophy (a handsome silver rose bowl, presented by its president, Mr J. Anderson). The scores also counted for the final of IZm ladies' trophy. The weather conditions were very frorarable (although the light at 700 yards troubled some of the competitors), and tas scoring was of a very high standard, being a fitting final to a very successful season. Mr "W. Brow-nlee proved the ginger, with ~ the fine score of 98. Mr W. Cox being second ■■ in the championship, only one point behind. The following are the detailed scores: TL W. Conditions: Two shoots of 10 shots and one sighter at 230 and 500 yards, 500 and 600, and 600 and 700 yards (one shoot only to count), and a anal shoot of seven shots and one sighter at 300, €00. and 700 yards.
