HOCKEY.
A special meeting of club delegates "-as held in the Sports Clun last night, for the purpose of making arrangements for the hall to be held in the Town Hall on. Friday, May 31st. In addition to the Ladies' and Referees' Associations, the following Hubs were represented: Auckland, North Shore. Ponsonby, Areta. St. .lames'. College Rifles. Traininc College, Parocll, Cnitarian, aud Mount Eden. Messrs Norton and Cu'pan were appointed joint secretaries, and Mr R. H. Partou treasurer. Printing committee: Messrs Hil'. Caro. and Norton. Musical committee: MessTS Cotton, Madden, and Fisher, Club secretaries are requested to send in their invitation lists before Monday.. May fith. A general committee, with power to add. composed of one delegate from each club, was formed, and the Dext meeting was fixed for Thursday, 2nd May. at 7.30 p.m. played to-morrow (Saturday).
