SYDNEY'S FISH SUPPLIES.
tIBTJ-M tJ-O-AT-XFACTORT. STATE TBAWLtSO PBOPOBED. \ SYDNEY, March 26. Tne Food Supply Coemrrissionei-'s interim report dealing with fish has been tabled. The report states that during the past decade prices of fish have increased by from 30 to 100 per cent. The supplies, it is stated, are irregular, and when tWe is* a glut in the market the consumers do not get the benefit.
Although the Commissioners are unable to trace the existence of a ring, they regard the position as thoroughly unsatisfactory. Thiey recommend the development of deep-sea .trawling by the Government.
