CYCLIST'S TERRIBLE DEATH.
W. Besctpstk, a well-known figure in the cycling and motoring world, wae killed on Saturday evening, March 10, at the vSports Ground, in Sydney, while having a training spin on the track, prior to taking part in the motor-cyclo handicap, which was listed for later on in the evening. Heanpark had mado several circuits of the track at a high rate of speed, and while doing an e.<tra fast lap he seemed to lose control of hit) machine ci* he swung out of the •rtraight. The motor gradually edged towards the fo/r<, and its rider, in making a despera-te effort to Keep it down, wobbled frightfully, find, bumping the fence, fell with a terrible thud to the trnc!;.
