The deputation also reported that it visited-the camp on several occasion* this week, and wiahed to congratulate Major Cumaaing and the officers on the adm_able behaviour of the troops under their charge. Col. Wolfe inspected the 16th Regiment yesterday ana again to-day. He expressed himself delighted with the exceHont work being done and the good progress made. He wa« glad to hear if the exemplary behaviour of th_ tmen, who had entered into the duties with enthusiasm and with a desire to make them- , Salves thoroughly efficient.
