STRIKE LEADER IMPRISONED. March 22. Sentence has been passed in a case arising out of the recent strike. Munro, an organiser of the Australian Workers' Union, was charged with attempting to procure persons to do grievous bodily harm to non-unionists; also, with publishing seditious matter, in which, it is stated, he urged the j strikers to see that non-unionists met I with accidents. I Accused was found guilty of sedition, and was sentenced to imprisonment for six months.
