FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION.

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Auckland Kool'ball Association was held in tbe Sporu; Clubs Rooms met night. There was n large attendance of players aud delegates (between forty and fifty or thereabouts). Including representatives of tbe following clubs: V.M.C.A.. Caledonian, Corinthian, Carlton, North Shore. St. Join's, Erv-ertou, Ponsonby. BrotUcrliood. Hotspur, and Referees' Club. Sir. Thos. Phllp, clairman of the Eieratlve Committee, presided until the annual report had been passed.

A SUCCESSFUL SEASON. The report stated that the past season had been the most successful In the annals "f Association football to Auckland. The season started wltb eeren first division teauiß, nine second division, four third division, eight' fourth division, and fourteen fifth divielou teams, a total of r>4o registered players.
