PUKEKOHE TRAFFIC BRIDGE.

INSPECTION OF SITES. The Hon. J. A. Millar, Minister of fiailwaye, visited Pukekohe yesterday to view the different sites suggested* for the overhead traffic bridge. The Town Board and Pukekohe West Road Board favour the end of King-street as the site, while a strong section of the community advocate the present level crossing at Eaat-street for the site of vhe overhead bridge. The chief cngineet and dietrict engineer, and Mr. \V. F. Massey, M.P. for <the district, accompanied the Minister, the party travelling down by car and being entertained at luncheon on arrival by the •Pukekohe Town Board. Alter hearing the respective arguments in favour ol the riva! sites, the Minister said that, after consulting with his engineers, he would give a definite reply within i week.
