Another star has been placed in the United States flag on the admission of New Mexico to the Union as the fortyseventh State. The flag of the United i States will now consist of thirteen stripes on the one side (representing the original thirteen States of the Union) and forty-seven stars on the other (the number of States now existing). Lucas Nagy, of Szegedin, Austria, sold his skin to a foreign museum a long time ago for £32, the condition being that after his death and when the skin was removed the museum authorities should bury his body.
