Havlnc left Wellington last night, the Union Co.'s steamer Kanna. is due here on Sunday morning. ' She has 912 bales of kapok for this port, on the discharge of which she sails for Ka I para to load timber for Sydney. CROYDON FROM 'FRISCO. The steamer Croydon. 3757 tone. MARAMA FOR VANCOUVER. At 7.20 a.m. to-day. the Union Company's steamer Marama arrived from Sydney direct. Departure was taken from tbe New South Wales port for Auckland on Monday evening last. MANTUA FROM LONDON. At 6.20 a.m. to-day the P. and O. steamer Mantua arrived from London and Mediterranean ports, via Australia. The vrtssel was berthed at the new Queen-street wharf, where medical inspection was carried out. The Mantna left London on December 1, and arrived at Gibraltar on December 5, after a stormy trip across the Bay Of Biscay and down the coast of Portugal. The vessel arrived at Marseilles on the Bth, and at Port Said on December 13th, after a moderate passage. Colombo was made on December 'JS, end from thence to Fremantie strouff south-east winds, with considerable sea aud swell, were experienced. Variable weather with choppy seas was met with round the Australian coast, and from Sydney to Auckland strong to fresh northerly winds ■with moderate seas and fine wea ther throughout. In continuation of her voyage the Man tun sails at 5 p.m. to-day for London, via Australian and Mediterranean 2orts. TELEGRAPHIC SHIPPING.
