TO-NIGHT'S ORGAN RECITAL.

MR MAUGHAN BARNETTS FINAL APPEARANCE. To-night, music-lovers in Aucklamd v.ill have a final opportunity of bearing the "Wellington city organist (Mr Maughan Barnett) on the magnificent organ which now graces the new Town Hall. Only a comparatively small portion of the great hall has been set aside for reserved seats, and there will be at Jeast 2000 scats available in the unreserved portion. Exceedingly, reasonable prices are being charged in connection with the recital, and a big attendance is anticipated. Mr Barnett is announced to give an exceptionally attractive programme, as follows:—"Con Moto," from Sonata No. 20 (Rheinberger) ; Offertoire in D flat (Salome); Andantino (Sibelius); Prelude and Fugue in D major (Bach); "Dornroschen" (Bendel) : The Rido of the Valkyries" (Wagner); "Berceuse" and "Intermezzo" (Maughan Barnett); Fantaisie on "Faust" (.Gounod).
