AQUATICS.

An effort is being made to form a swimming club In connection with the new baths at Monnt Bden. A meeting to consider tie advisability of such an action will be held in the Congregational Schoolroom, Esplannde-road. on Monday, the 18th Inst., at 7.45 p.m. All those Interested In this matter should make a point of being present, and ensure success to the venture. POWER BOAT ASSOCIATION. The first cruising race In connection with the New Zealand Power Bont Association will be held to-morrow to Cowes Bay. The following are the nominations:—Jean. Dorothy, Nance 8., Mollie. Rover. Princess, Madge, Marore, Aripa. and Gretchen. Owing to some difficulty In getting the committee together, the handicaps have not yet been declared, and will be posted this evening at Jigger and Harvey's.

RICHMOND CRinSING CLUB.

The Richmond Cruising Crab hold its first series of chiss races to-morrow. The eon-rse for first and second class yachts is as follows: —FVom starting line off Ponsonhy wnarf, round Dork Tmoy on sta--board hand, thence round Viking on starboard hand, thence round Dock booy on port hand, thence roond black pole off Chelsea on port hand, back round mark off Shelly Beach on starboard band, and finishing across stfl-rtinjr line. The entries and handicaps are as follows:—First -class: Sadie scratch, Emeraid 4m. Speedwell Stn. RamWer 9m. Second-class: Venus Bcratca. Dnlcie lm, Pnawanira 4m. Hetty 4m. The course for class three is from starting line, round Dock buoy, thence round Viking, back to Dock buoy, finishing across start ing line. Tie entries and handicaps are as follows:—Decima scratch, Eileen scratch. Seahorse 4m, Ivy sm, Miss Mischief 9m.
