A CHILD DROWNED.
TWO HELPLESS WOMEN.
{Bj~TelegTapli.— Press Association.) THAMES, this day. A drowning fatality da reported front Hauraki Plains. Two women and a, seven-year-old child named Quartennan were in a boat pulling along the river when the child overbalanced and fell overboard. The women saw the child rise to the surface, but were helpless, and the body was soon carried away by the fast running river.
