(By Telegraph. —Press Aesoci»tk>n.) HASTINGS, this day. A very important sale of native land at WaimaTama 'belonging chiefly to the estate of the late Mrs. Donnelly was held ion Thursday. A total of nearly 6000 ' acres was disposed of in areas ranging I from 315 acres to 2120 acres, prices runI rting from £9 to £18 an acre. The total I sales (including' lands sold on account of : other owners) represent £74.803 7/6. ' : The sale was announced as being made I under special authority to this particular lands conferred by Maori Land Laws, Amendment Act, 1903.
