DIVORCE.
• A WATKATO CASE. John Henry Brown, a labourer, aged about 35, residing at Ana, near Bamuton, sought for a dissolution of his marriage with-his wife, before Mr. Justice Edwards, in the Divorce Court yesterday, on the grounds of misconduct with James Reardon, who was named as 00-reanom-dent. Mr. F- Earl appeared for psitttioner. The latter deposed thai he wee married to Rone Crawford is June, IMB, and subsequently they kept a boardtar house at Aria.' They were, at the outset, moderately happy. About the middle of last year, however, petitioner noticed a decided, change in his wife's manner towards him. In conaequeoes of suspicions aroused by a familiarity which, had.sprung up between her and James Reardon, who assisted his father in a grocery business, petitioner followed his wife oyer Jo the shop in question early one morning, and in the eauree of heated words she admitted having carried on with Reardon during several pus. ceding months. Respondent then left on return to Jhe Jum* of her people, aad subsequently she and on-respondent were found to be IMag together at a private hotel in Wellington. A decree nisi was granted, to be made absolute m three months.
