HARBOUR BOARD.
| The regular meeting of the Auckland Harbour Board was beld this afternoon, those present being: Messrs W. B. llutchison £in the chair), H. D. Heather, C. Bagley, J. H. Bradney, J. E. Taylor, E. W. Alison, P. Virtue, J. Eisher, A. Keyes, and H. H. Adams. PERKY BUILDING. | A letter was received from Mr A. Wise--1 man, stating that the price offered by the contractors for alterations to the east wing of the Perry Buildings was £538. The letter was deferred for further consideration iu committee. FIRE INSURANCE. It was a proposal by the Board in Committee that the Board's fire risk should be divided equally between the New Zealand Insurance Co., South British Co., and the New Zealand Government State Fire Insurance Co. .PKJaaATATTIS. BAY BiECTiAMATION. A 3otter" was received from; the Auckland ;Gas Co. stating that further spoil for the Freeman's' Bay reclamation works, to the extent of 58,€00 cubic yards, was available as a continuation of the present contract, at. 1/4} per yard, BJd being paid by the Board and Sfd, by the Gas Co.
