“A DESIRE FOR LOOT.”
THE WELSH RIOTS. JfOT DUE TO ANTI-SEMITISM. (Received 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, September 5. Forty-six colliers and colliers’ wives were sentenced to periods from 28 to 90 days for rioting at Tredegar. The prosecution stated that the disturbances were due to a desire for loot, not to anti-Semitism.
