DEMOIiISHES A DWELLING. SAX FRANCISCO, August 20. The story of a wonderful escape fi -m a violent death experienced by a man and his wife and baby comes from Santa Barbara (Cal.). A truck from a freight train broke loose, and leaping the rails completely wrecked the house of John Fields, which was situated lose to the railway line. At the time of the smash, Fields and his wife, with their baby, were asleep, but although the 'bed en which they were lying was struck by the truck and huTled against a wall, none of tie occupants were injured.
