"THE ARCADIANS." There was a crowded attendance at ills Majesty's Theatre on Saturday night to witness "The Arcadians." The play weut with an excellent swiug throughout, and trequc-ut applause demanded frequent encores. Mr Tom Walls, as Peter Doody, was obliged to reappear no lesa than five times for his song -I've Uot a Motter." whilst the dancing particularly pleased the aualetice. The musical numbers were all exceedingly popular. The management announce the last sis nights of tne piece. WEST'S PICTURES. A picture of considerable Interest will be submitted at the Royal Albert Hall th.B eveulng, this being a pictorial representation of the ceremony of investiture of 11. R.H. the Prince of Wales at Carnarvon Castle, Wales. The film arrived direct from Loudon yesterday. In addition to the above a fine, selection of scenic, dramatic, and comic films will be presented. A matinee is announced for Wednesday next. THE KINGS THEATRE. The new programme to be screened at Fuller's Pictures this evening will include a representation of the story of the Christian Knights, who. In the days of old. went to save the Holy Land from the Saracens. The primitive methods and weapons used, the wooden towers from which bolts were shot, and a series of effective scenes iu which realistic fighting takes place, are said to be particularly good. "The Crusaders" will be supplemented with a new collection of various subjects of great Interest. OPERA HOUSE. At the Opera House this evening pictures will be shown of the boxing contests between Langford and Lang, and Langfonl and McVea. These pictures are said to be unique. STAR PICTURES. Another fine series of films were presented at the Newmarket Hall on Saturday evening, and were witnessed by a large crowd. The films will be shown again this evening. THE RINKS. The Windsor. Gl idea way, and Royal Rinks were well attended by skaters on Saturday. The usual sessions will he held to-day. STEWART'S PICTURES. 'Stewart's Pictures were witnessed by a big house at the Tivolt Theatre ou Saturday evening, and the new programme was greatly appreciated. The series was strong in dramatic pictures, some of the best being "Bill's Widow," "The Inventor," "Boneface VIII." (a strong historical story), and "An Eleventh Hour Redemption." An industrial film showed the Lignite Mines at Brux, and a nicely coloured scenic picture showed cocoanuts being gathered in the tropics. The comic films were well selected, "Max Married" being a great laughter raiser. The programme will be repeated this evening. SOUSA'S BAND. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Sousa's Band concluded its Wellington season in the Town Hall on Saturday evening. Altogether 11 concerts were given by this splendid band during last week, and it is noteworthy that the attendance and enthusiasm of the public increased on each occasion. The big hall waa full, and the audience was extremely enthusiastic throughout, so that the programme was practically doubled by encores.
