PENALTIES FOR WEEDS. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Beporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Seeds Control Bill provides penalties for the sale of grass, cereal, fodder, or forage seeds for sowing that contain in the aggregate more than two per .cent of gorae, or broom, or more than one per cent of Californian thistle, dodder, sweebbriar, blackberry, Bathrust burr. Provision is made for getting the Beeds tested *by the Government biologist. It shall be an offence under the Act if the seed sold differs materially from the description in the invoice certificate. Provision is made for the sale of gorse seed, and for its sowing for fodder purposes under permit from the Minister.
