AUCKLAND GRAMMAR SCHOOL.

PROPOSED iNEW piTE. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The Auckland Grammar School Site Bill was introduced by Governor's message this evening at the instance of the Hon. G. Fowlds. The bill was read a first time, and was referred to the Lands Committee. The proposed site comprises 15a lr 34p, which is to be vested in the Grammar School Board in trust for a site for a secondary school. The Board is to erect suitable buildings which must be approved by the Minister for Education, and unless this is done within 10 years of the passing of the bill, the land will revert to the Crown.
