The awards were based on consistent running, each competitor adhering as closely as possible to an average speed chosen by himself. Before starting, a test of Welwyn Hill was aUo taken into account, the competitors being stopped on a line, and restarted by signal. The winner was Mr Home, who, on a 30 h.p.
