PUBLIC NOTICES, In the Matter of a BUI to be Intituled "Toe Manukau Harbour Control Act, 181 L" Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Auckland Harbour Board to introduce during the present Session of Parliament a Local Bill having the following objects:— 1. To authorise the Auckland Harbour Board if it shall think fit to arrange with the Minister of Hallways to purchase the Railway Wharf at Oneimnga at a price to be hied by arbitration. 2. To provide that upon the completion of such purchase U>) The Auckland Harbour Board shall have the same jurisdiction over the Manukau Harbour as it now has with respect to the Waitemata Harbour, and shall be subject to such duties In relation to the Manukau Harbour as are imposed upon Harbour Boards by any statutory enactment, (b) The lands and endowments specifically detailed in the schedule to the said Bill shall vest in the Hoard 3. To authorise the Auckland Harbour Board to make investigations and surveys for the purpose of obtaining information as to the feasibility of constructing a canal between the Waikato River and Manukau Harbour, and to acquire land for the purpose of constructing such canal, and to lease any lands so acquired, and to sell any lands so acquired and not required for the purposes of such canal. 4. A Copy of the said Bill, together with plans and surreys of the lands proposed to be vested In the Board, is now open for public Inspection at the Magistrate's Court, Onehunga. To authorise the Lease by the Board to the Corporation of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Northcote of the Tuff Crater Tidal Reserve *ses of the Borough Tuff Crater Tidal Rese 5 of a Public Domain Reserve. 6. To authorise the Lease by the Board i to the Trustees to be nominated by the Parnell Borough Council and the Remnera I Road Board of all that piece or parcel of tidal water situated in Hobson's Bay, containing approximately 76 acres, as fourthly described In the First Schedule to the said Kill for the purposes of a Public Domain or Reserve.
