Dr. M'Arthur: You are sure of tnatl Witness replied that he waa. ' Dr. M'Arthur: Well, you would be a useful associate to the Chief Justice, because he can't. You are positive (continued his Worship) that you can toll when a man is under the' influence ot drink 1 Witness: Yes. Dr. M'Arthur: Intoxicated" ; Witness: Yes. Dr. M'Arthur: Drunk? Witness: Yes. ~ Bγ. M'Arthur: Well, you're a buddinj Chief Justice. (Laughter.)
