At a meeting held on.. Tuesday 25th inst. at the Methodist Church, Takapiuia, it was decided to form a branch of the • Waitemata No-License League. Mr. W. N. Rushbrook was chosen chairman, and Mr. G. -Scanlen, secretary of the Takapuna branch, and Messrs. Hanies, Harris and Scanlen were appointed delegates to the Council.
