WAIKATO AATATEUB CHAMPIONSHIPS. The nnnl arrangements in connection with fine forthcoming. championships louruuiiient are now almost complete, and a i ghly successful carnival seems assured. An energetic committee has been biusiiy engaged in arranging all details that will assist iv making the meeting a meinoralile one iv the Waikato. The entries received constitute a record, and some good material will he forthcoming in the various classes. Bucklnnd, Waikato, Goldflelds, ana tue King Country have all contributed in the way of entries, and much speculation is rife as to the abilities of the representatives of the various districts to secure championship honours. A large number of enquiries for seating accommodation bare already been received from outside districts, i-nd a packed house should gvoct (lie contestants on the night of "The Glorious FouitJi." A large number of Auckli!i»l enttiiiskr'ts and several uieniiiers of the Northern Boxing Association are expected, and it seems certain from present appearances that this carnival will eclipse all tlie Association's previous meetings.
