S.M. COURT.

(Before Mr. C. C. Kettle, S.M.) MAINTENANCE CASES. Orders were made in the following cases:— Itobert Henry Jameson, failing to comply with an order to pay 5/ per week towards the maintenance of his child. A fine of 7/(J was imposed. For failing to comply with an order for the support of his wife, the same defendant was fined another 7/6 Bernard Cahil], for allowing arrears to accumulate for maintenance of his wife, •was sentenced to one month; order suspended for 14 days. Frank Treinbath, for failiug to provide for the support of his child, and not appearing, was sentenced to one month, costs, 21/, being allowed. The order was suspended ponding a further order of the Court, Fred Humphrey, for allowing arrears of maintenance for his wife totalling £16 5/ fO accumulate, and not appearing, was sentenced to one month, order suspended pending issue of a further one by the Thomas McGrath was ordered to pay 3/ per week towards the support of his child In St. Mary's Industrial School. John Baylls was convicted and sentenced to one month (order suspended) for failing to support his child in St. Mary's Industrial School. Thomas Rowe did not appear in answer was convicted, and sentenced to 14 days. Costs, 21/, were allowed. Hem-y Halley was ordered to pay 10/ per week towards the support of a child. Costs, 21/, allowed. William E. Maher was ordered to pay 10/ per week towards the maintenance of lis children. A separation order was granted, also custody of the children.
