NATIONALISTS AND THE CORONATION.

WHY THEY STOOD OTJT. EFFECT ON IRELAND FEARED. (Received 8.55 a.m.) LONDON, June 30. Nationalist members of the House of Commons met prior to the Coronation, when Mr. John Redmond predicted that it would benefit the Home Rule cause in England if the party participated in the ceremonies. Others dissented, fearing that it would have a bad effect in Ireland. Thirty-three were in favour of attending, and 20 against. Thereupon Mr. T. P. O'Connor emphasised the danger of cleavage, and hence it was resolved not to attend.
