He a very fitting wind-up to :the-exhibition! 1 was ai social gathering of the -members' of the society. Se hoped that the outcome of the gathering would be the, establishment of a clnb for artists and those interested in art, which might jpeet once a month, the first portion of the evening being devoted to the reading of papers, the giving of lectures, and the criticising toy artists or each other's sketches; the second part of the evening could be devoted to the social sidte. In this..way he thougnt a-great deal; might 'be done to further art, and Also to help 'yoanjr .«,rti«t*, -
