CRICKET IN ENGLAND.
TARRANT'S FINE PERFORMANCE. (Received 9.15 a.m.) LONDON, June 28. Playing for Middlesex against Somerset, F. Tarrant, the ex-Victorian, scored 62 (not Out) and took eight wickets for 52, including the hat trick. Middlesex won by nine wickets. In the match between the visiting Indian Eleven arid Staffordshire, Barnes, the international, took 14 wickets for 20.
