Messrs. C. J. Parr (Mayor), members of the Council's Water Committee, city engineer (Mr. W. E. Bush), and 'j .the waterworks engineer (Mr. J. CarI law); whilst the Mount Eden Borough Council (which is also the Mount Eden !■: Domain Board, wns represented by the I Mayor..(Mr. 0. Nicholson), eight councillors, and its engineer (Mr. J. Rogers). I ffhe contractor for the construction of § fte reservoic (Mr. J. T. Julian) was also ■f resent. Mr. Parr explained that it was abso•wely necessary to meet the demands 'or water in the suburbs that another Reservoir should be built in a high position. He expressed the hope that the Domain Board would recognise the posi"on, and.assist the city.
