SAFEST TN THE WORLD.
(Received 10.30 a.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. Replying to criticisms of the proposal to reduce the gold reserve, Mr. Fraser (Acting-Treasurer) declared that the Commonwealth's was the safest note issue in the world.
