Out of 24 birds .shipped from London,. 16 arrived in splendid Condition. The birds will be on -■view to-morrow at Mr Tooman's rooms in the, City Markets, and will then be forwarded to the society's breeding place _li "-Olcproire. A further shipment of cock pheasants is expected by the next *__"•. The society has expressed its sincere thanks to Captain Gilman of •the Matatua, for the-great care taken of the present shipment on the voyage to New Zealand. b
