REVOLT IN CANTON.
THE REBELS KEPULSEB. VILLAGES BURNED. (Keoeived 10 a.m.) LONDON, May 2. i Renter's Peking correspondent says ilat British marines are guarding Shemeen, the foreign residential part of Canton. Guns are posted along the canal. The rebels unsuccessfully attacked the police station between the city and the foreign settlement.
The revolutionaries burned four villages at Fatshan.
