Good Hope.—The ground Is till very bard lv the drive, but this may prove to be only a boulder.. The band of are is now only about 3 inches in thickness, and no gold has been seen. The slopes are still producing fair ore, but is yet very much split up, which makes it slow work. The quartz and mullock have to be shot down together, and then picked over. About a pound of picked stone wan selected thi9 week. May Queen ; —No. 10 level, 1000 ft: Extending the south drive on the reef is being carried on.
