An Irish politician had just returned from a trip abroad. A friend met him and inquired: "Did you have a fine time, Mike?" "Of course I did." "Did you visit " the theatres in PafisS" : "Sure, I saw all the plays." "And did you go to the cafesT" "Sure, I was in all of 'em." "Well, tell mc, Mike, and did ye see any pommes de terre?" <r Nd. I had the wife with mc all the time."
