RESCUE WORK IN MINES.
LONDON, March 4.
Tie committee appointed by Mr. Winston Churchill in October to consider rescue arrangements for mines, has recommended the establishment of a brigade at even , mine, the brigades to receive a thorough training, fitting the members for rescue work, which the committee recommend should be restricted to authorised persons. The committee also recommends the maintenance of all necessary rescue apparatus and the latest tracing of the : workings of the mines.
